Gentle & slow, and sometimes we flow. This practice is focused on slowing down—holding poses longer to be more mindful of proper alignment, helping to build more strength and flexibility over time. This class is beginner-friendly, but also perfect for the seasoned practitioner looking to go deeper in their yoga practice.

Before You Arrive:

We start promptly at 6:30 PM. To help us create a safe and predictable environment, please arrive a few minutes early.

If you are running late and have registered online, please enter quietly. A "Latecomer's Kit" with a mat and props is available by the door for your convenience.

These kits are reserved exclusively for students who have registered and paid online in advance.

WHAT IS A "FLOW?"

A Yoga "Flow" is a style of movement. A Flow style class often moves with the breath (Inhale: 1 pose, Exhale: next pose). Flow classes have a lot of up & down (standing, down to the mat) & help build heat in the body.

PROPS & MATS AVAILABLE

Accessibility notes:

~mat work- ability to get up and down from the ground.

~multiple variations given for postures

This is a standard community yoga class which will always be trauma sensitive and completely secular. This means there will be no religious or spiritual beliefs incorporated, so the classes are welcoming for people from all religions and spiritual practices.
